Salesman Made a Request but Forgot to Receive

Scenario

Day 1: Salesman raises a Stock Request and Approved by the Supervisor. Warehouse Admins proceeds to create the necessary Allotment. Nevertheless, the Salesman does not immediately receive the Allotment in SFA.

Day 2: The Salesman is ready to receive the Allotment, but it's no longer visible in SFA. What happens?

 

Explanation

All open Allotments will be automatically expired after day-end closing every day. In this case, the Salesman will have to create another Stock Request.

 

Any impact on the Warehouse stock?

No, the approval of the Stock Request does not move out any stock from the warehouse inventory. It still requires Allotment to be raised, picked and packed as usual.
